Annual overview

The /annual page rolls up all 12 months of a calendar year into a single view. Useful for tax season and year-end review.

Annual takes every saved budget in a given year and rolls them up. The year selector at the top lets you switch between years if you've been using Payday Audit for a while. The main panel shows monthly totals alongside summary tiles for the year.

Summary tiles

  • Total take-home — sum of every income deposit you budgeted.
  • Total saved + invested — how much wealth you built this year.
  • Total debt payments — useful context for tax returns that allow student loan interest deductions.
  • Average savings rate — your year's wealth rate, smoothed across all months.

Tip

Run this in December or January. It makes a great sanity check before you set goals for the new year.
