Welcome to Payday Audit. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
Payday Audit is owned and operated by Takes A Village Financial Inc., an Alberta, Canada corporation. In these terms, "Payday Audit," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Takes A Village Financial Inc. and the Payday Audit service.
Payday Audit is a personal budgeting tool that helps you allocate your income using the zero-sum budgeting method. You enter your income and expenses, and our guided wizard helps you assign every dollar a purpose.
Payday Audit is a planning tool only. It does not connect to your bank accounts, move money on your behalf, or execute any financial transactions. The budgets you create are plans. It's up to you to follow through on them.
Payday Audit is an educational and organizational tool. Nothing in this app should be considered financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The information and suggestions provided (such as debt payoff strategies, savings targets, or investment allocation categories) are general in nature and may not be appropriate for your specific situation.
If you need personalized financial advice, please consult a qualified financial advisor, accountant, or other professional. We encourage you to do your own research and make informed decisions about your finances.
To use Payday Audit, you'll need to create an account with a valid email address. You're responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
Payday Audit may offer free, subscription, and one-time purchase plans. Paid plan prices are shown on our pricing page and, unless stated otherwise, are charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes, if any, will be shown at checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you start a paid plan, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the plan you choose. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If a free trial is offered, your subscription begins when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
You can manage your billing details, payment methods, invoices, subscription changes, and cancellations through the billing portal available from your account settings. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise shown in the billing portal.
One-time lifetime purchases provide access to the stated paid-plan features for the life of the Payday Audit service, subject to these terms. Lifetime purchases are not subscriptions and do not renew.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to provide a refund at our discretion. We may change prices or plan features in the future. For existing subscriptions, material price changes will take effect only after reasonable notice or as otherwise required by law.
If a payment fails, your paid features may be paused, downgraded, or cancelled until billing is resolved. Your budget data is not deleted just because a paid plan ends.
The budget data you enter into Payday Audit belongs to you. We store it so you can access it across sessions and devices. You can delete your budgets at any time, and you can request deletion of your entire account and all associated data.
For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please read our Privacy Policy.
You agree to use Payday Audit for its intended purpose: personal budgeting and financial planning. You agree not to:
